Business As Usual
With a sink full of dishes our cupboard was bare
And I was growing thinner
So my girlfirend and I left the dishes behind
Decided we’d go out to dinnerWe picked out a resturant we sat a table
When we saw a woman alone
She sat with a man who intently talked business
Into his cellular phoneBusiness as usual (x2)
Their idea of dining together amazed me
I laughed and my date laughed alone
She lent me a pen and the placemat was paper
I started to write down this songThe paper at breakfast is one thing although
This seemed a little extreme
How can this man traat this woman this way?
Why does she stay, why doesn’t she scream?Words and music by Scott Yoho ©1992 Auto Order Music (BMI)
